Shiba Park
Shiba Park was the first Park to be recognized as a Public Park in Japan and was established in 1873. The Zojoji Temple was once part of Shiba Park, but it was separated with the intention of separating politics and religion. In 1984, maple trees were planted on the park ground in between the Tokyo Tower and the Zojoji Temple, creating a small valley that well known for its beauty in autumn when the maple leaves change color.
