mesm Tokyo is pleased to present its 18th Afternoon Exhibition program, “TOHAKU ~Colorful Asia~,”in collaboration with the Tokyo National Museum at Whisk, the bar & lounge located on the 16th floor, from Thursday, October 1, 2026, to Sunday, January 31, 2027.

Inspired by the artworks featured in the museum's annual autumn program, "Journey Through Asia at Tokyo National Museum: Colorful Asia," mesm Tokyo has crafted a unique selection of afternoon sweets and savories. The experience begins with an appetizer reflecting the exterior of the museum's Toyokan (Asian Gallery), followed by a main course featuring eight vibrant, colorful spheres. The surrounding scenery is further brought to life with a paired mocktail that evokes a taste of Showa-era modernism and the lush green forest of Ueno. Beyond its striking visual appeal, the menu is thoughtfully designed with careful attention to flavor combinations, textures, and subtle taste transitions, allowing guests to immerse themselves in diverse aesthetic sensibilities through both sight and taste.
