Basic Policy on Food Allergy Labeling
At our hotel, we identify and indicate the nine specified ingredients that are legally required to be labeled as allergens: wheat, egg, milk, shrimp, crab, buckwheat, peanuts, walnuts, and cashew nuts. We also indicate menu items that contain beef, pork, or alcohol. Guests who wish for accommodations regarding these nine specified ingredients are asked to make a request in advance. As a general rule, we are unable to accommodate individual requests regarding ingredients other than those listed above.
Guests are asked to acknowledge statements 1-3 below and make their own judgments regarding the patronage of our facilities.
1. Please note that, as multiple ingredients are handled in the same kitchen, we cannot completely eliminate the possibility of trace cross-contamination from allergens other than the ingredients being used.
2. The allergy information (nine specific raw materials) is based on the ingredient information (food labeling) of the ingredients used and from their manufacturers, etc.
3. For guests wit severe allergic symptoms, we may, in the interest of safety, be unable to provide certain menu items (or we may decline to provide service to that guest). Thank you for your understanding.
If you have a serious food allergy or if we are unable to accommodate your food allergy, we advise you to bring in your own safe food (retort pouch, frozen, etc.) for your own safety. If you wish to bring your own food, please let us know at the time of reservation. Please note that an additional fee may be charged for bringing in your own food.
