mesm Tokyo has become the first accommodation facility in Tokyo to obtain the international eco-label "Green Key." Furthermore, in September 2024, the hotel also achieved the international certification "Sakura Quality Green 4 Gyoiko-Zakura" for accommodations practicing the SDGs, making it the first in Japan to hold both certifications.* (*According to our research)

 

Since opening in 2020, our hotel has prioritized sustainability as a key theme and implemented various eco-friendly initiatives. These include adopting gender-neutral uniforms, paperless guest rooms, and reducing plastic usage. Additionally, we have actively contributed to preserving the natural environment surrounding the hotel through activities such as cleaning tidal flats and maintaining Hamarikyu Gardens. This certification marks just one step toward achieving our goals. Moving forward, we will use this recognition as a new starting point to further strengthen our efforts in sustainability and environmental protection, while actively sharing our initiatives domestically and internationally to gain broader support.
