mesm Tokyo to Offer New "Layered Parfait" Inspired by Traditional Tea Room "Round Window"

mesm Tokyo presents its new “Layered Parfait,” featuring a harmonious blend of matcha and ganache, at Bar & Lounge “Whisk” on the 16th floor from April 1 to June 30, 2026.
 
The hotel’s signature "Layered Parfait" series, which evolves with the seasons, takes its inspiration this spring from the serene atmosphere of a traditional Japanese tea room. Drawing from the soft light filtering through shoji paper screens and the iconic "En-mado" (round window), this dessert portrays a delicate transition of flavors within a single glass. The topping features a round cocoa cookie reminiscent of a tea room window, adorned with white chocolate latticework evocative of shoji screens, inviting guests into a world of "Japanese tranquility".
 
The layers unfold to reveal a bittersweet matcha jelly, a fragrant whiskey ganache, and a matcha panna cotta containing a whole strawberry, each offering a distinct profile that culminates in a rich, comforting finish of matcha and chocolate. Guests can further personalize their experience with the accompanying brown sugar syrup and matcha sauce. We invite you to savor this sophisticated spring indulgence while enjoying the lush greenery of the Hamarikyu Gardens.
