For a month in December 2021, we held the "BLUE FANTASY 2021," a holiday season unlike any other, under the hotel’s concept of "TOKYO WAVES," the brand color midnight blue, and the theme "Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 14 (Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources).” During the event, various unique services were offered, including the sale of original coasters made of 100% recycled plastic, using only discarded plastic, such as plastic bottle caps, as raw materials. A portion of the proceeds from the event was donated to the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, which conducts water quality monitoring and biological surveys of the Takeshiba tidal flat located within WATERS takeshiba, and other initiatives to protect the marine environment in Tokyo Bay. As a hotel located on the waterfront, we will continue to promote efforts to protect the beautiful waterfront.
