Sustainability Procurement Basic Policy

We pursue sustainable and high-quality services, aiming to contribute to the reduction of environmental issues, the resolution of social problems, and the revitalization of the local economy, while striving to realize a safe and secure hotel that is kind to both people and the planet.

1. Compliance with Laws
In our purchasing activities, we comply with the laws and regulations of each country, as well as international standards, and we do not procure goods, products, or raw materials that are prohibited.

2. Quality Management
To provide high-quality services and products, we engage in purchasing activities that ensure high-quality, safe, and secure products.

3. Fair and Equitable Transactions
We aim to deepen mutual understanding and build trust with our business partners, contractors, and subcontractors as long-term partners in pursuing excellent products and services. We prioritize fairness and equity, pursue optimal costs based on market competition principles, and do not engage in improper provision or receipt of benefits.

4. Human Rights and Labor
We respect human rights within our supply chain, eliminate all forms of discrimination, and strive to improve workplace environments. We do not tolerate forced labor, child labor, or unfair low-wage labor and procure products and goods that are manufactured in environments free from human rights violations.

5. Response to Anti-Social Forces
We take a firm stance against anti-social forces and organizations that threaten social order and safety, and we do not engage in any transactions with them.

6. Consideration for the Global Environment
We strive to procure products that consider the global environment, including the preservation of the waterfront in Takeshiba. We adopt local products as much as possible for the products, goods, and services we use. If this is difficult, we prioritize those with Fair Trade, Eco Mark, etc., and if that too is difficult, we try to verify the production methods as much as possible.

7. Consideration for Animal Welfare
We support the initiatives of producers and companies that take animal welfare (humane livestock management with consideration for comfort) into account and will gradually increase the usage ratio of such products, considering purchasing conditions such as quality, supply volume, and price.
